Actually, it's not impossible. In MUCH of the older myth, vampires were highly sexualized creatures. In fact, many people believed that a dead vampire would return to their spouse in order to create such a child.

The offspring of a vampire and a mortal is a a dhamphir. They are usually very adept at killing vampires.

No, it's not impossible. Well, maybe a little bit.

Okay, here's MY theory.....

When Bella got herself pregnant, she was still human, and had slept with a vampire, without PROTECTION (AHHHHHH THE HORROR lol :P) and Edward was frozen as a seventeen year old, right??? He would still have the ability to impregante a woman. So, when two vampires sleep together, there actaully IS a little vampiric fetus, and in turn it's frozen in time. But because Bella is human, she actually became pregnant.
