Essentially, aren't we looking at the same thing on both sides? On the rep. ticket, you have an old, expierenced Washington-ite, and a young 'trail blazer' that has done a few remarkable things. On the dem. ticket, you have a young 'trail blazer' that has done a few remarkable things and an old Washington-ite.

Doesn't this level the playing field? (Other than the fact that one of the inexpierenced ones will automatically run the US and the other will in the event of an untimely departure from office.)

  1. There is nothing as illiberal as a liberal. I find that dogmatism and close-mindedness is far more rampant among Democrats than among Republicans.

  2. being govenor of alaska doesnt make her experienced to be president. she has not stance on foreign policy and none of her stances are broad, mccain should of choose someone more qualified who has thought more about where they want to take our country...

  3. She's not just "inexperienced" whatever that is.

    She is illogical and fanatical.

She's forcing her personal beliefs on everyone around her and they are not good for society as a whole.

    That's what Neocons do.

They make their truths everyone else's reality and create lots of discomfort in the process.

  4. More like the other way around now. How can Republicans be critical of Obama's inexperience now?

  5. McCain CONTRADICTS cause his main agruement FOR MONTHS was that Obama was inexperienced and that was his only argument up until he choose Palin. He and his supporters have never mentioned exactly what is so bad about Obama. They have shown NO PROOF that his policies won't work. Larry Endler (a republican and McCain supporter) said after the DNC that Obama was just too ambitious and that he was just dreaming. He never talked about how or why is wouldn't work. Since when did we start teaching our future that being ambitious was dreaming beyond reach? I don't think NASA would think so. I don't Abraham Lincoln would think so. I don't think Martin Luther King Jr. would think so. I don't think Hilary Clinton would think so either.

  6. 1 shes a woman

    #2 she a younger woman

#3 she never served in federal government

#4 she's a governor of a state with no African American residents

tell me? how can a woman that never knew African Americans know their wants and needs?

  7. It is fair to question everyone's experience.

  8. First of all, they know how to spell "experience."

Second, she is (by her own admission) ignorant of foreign policy issues.

  9. Anyone can have an "untimely departure".  African-American men between 45-55 are more prone to fatal heart attacks than any other demographic group.

The salient point is that the Ds have put their inexperienced candidate at the top of the ticket, and the Rs have put their experienced candidate there.

  10. It does level the playing field which is bad for the repubs.

that was their main attack, Experience

    but here is the difference

Obama was voted for, in primaries and caucuses as the leader the Dems wanted

McCain hand picked inexperience after he has been so critical of Obama's experience

Obama hand picked a legitimate experienced person that would be able to take over as president

    McCain picked a gimmick

  11. The same way that the Repubs can be critical of Obama, who really does have more experience than Palin.

Obama is ready to be President and will make this Country a great leader. He was nationally known before he ran for President.  Mrs. Palin name was first heard of by most of us when McSame uttered it.

I'm at a loss here, what few remarkable things has Palin done?

No this does not level the playing field because if something should happen to McSame, you don't seriously think Palin can run the Country.  Perish the thought.

  12. Because we are, get over it.

  13. Obama's got more experience than Sarah, so they aren't on the same level. So then technically Obama/Biden is stronger.

  14. What experience on the federal level of government? seven years after she was on PTA, she's vice pres. candidate, get real.
