  1. Every single Labour voter in the country was double crossed when Brown signed the Lisbon treaty without holding the promised referendum. It was the worst single act of treachery against the British people since the gunpowder plot.

Under the circumstances his chances of retrieving any credibility with the electorate are about as likely as Adolf Hitler becoming Prime  Minister of Israel.

  2. By quitting the job now.

  3. He didn't have any in the first place,he wasn't elected!

  4. He should stop stealing Conservative policies, e.g., draconian tests for the disabled coupled with workfare etc., and advance his own original left of centre policies.

Either that or merge New Labour (neo-Conservative) with the Conservative party leaving the Liberal Democrats as the party of opposition.

Realistically though, it's over for Gordon Brown and the New Labour project. The enlightened middle classes and working class who voted Labour through thick and thin, betrayed by the party, have deserted New Labour in droves. Who is left to vote Labour in any election now? The public have got the "it's time for a change" bit between their teeth. Prepare yourself for ten to twenty years of unsuccessful Tory administrations while the Labour Party bite at themselves like a wounded animal and try to find a purpose and something to stand for again.

  5. i never lost confidence in the man his strings are being pulled as all prime ministers are

  6. If he goes away and never comes back

  7. short of a miracle?

How about he decides to bring back common sense to the UK?

The liberal & slack Criminal Justice System could do with a reminder weak sentences do not work.

These out of control Councils, tied up in red-tape & PC,

while refuse piles up, striking workers, etc, etc

They could do with a reminder who pays their wages.

An over-stretched NHS mismanaged by more administration than nurses, hospitals are more concerned about hitting government targets, than saving sick peoples lives.

Hospitals are over-crowded & overcrowding leads directly to the risk of infection

A deep-clean once every now & then IS NOT WORTH THE £.

Our Dumbed down schools & in melt-down education system, stop making the exams too easy,

society won't get any highly-skilled people, if we move the target any lower.

oh & save the Norfolk coast from being abandoned to the Sea, if HE FINDS THE TIME.

Like I said, a miracle would probably be easier!

he's turning to a bigger failure than b'liar & I never thought of that.

  8. there is no comeback for him,he has lost all trust with the unions and public.

  9. The minute he abolished the 10p tax he lost the support of the people, He went on to ratify a treaty that the Irish (God Bless Them) had already made null and void.

There is no way back for him or the cronies that did not stop him. I contracted out of paying the political levy on my Union subs years ago.

  10. He can't, his time is up. The stories being told about his horrific temper tantrums are only just coming out but i've known of them for several years - the man has poor social graces and he knows it. He lacks self-confidence and this in turn makes him dogmatic and a bully. How his wife endures that sort of rubbish or why is beyond comprehension!

  11. Absolutely nothing whatsoever. Brown and the rest of the Government have chosen to ignore the people, sobeit.

  12. Sorry but there is no way back now for Gordon Brown,

He as lied to the British Public to many times for that.

  13. he cant, hes too far gone.  after more than a decade of labour failure, its time for a change

and then when the tories fail theyll get kicked out

    and so it goes
