  1. Hi,

I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt and avoid bankruptcy. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

  2. i would go to http://www.cellsware.info/restorecredit . they're an awesome company that helps you fix up your credit score. I was having a lot of problems with my debt and my credit score was hooorrrrrrible so one of my friends showed me this site and they brought m back on th right track and helped m raise my score

  3. Nope.  In the past, those companies would make you an authorized user on an account of someone with good credit and their good score would help boost yours.  The rules have changed and piggybacking onto someone's credit as an authorized user no longer helps your score.  Don't waste your money.

Best thing you can do is make regular deposits at the bank to prove your self employed income and then get a small credit card.  Use it responsibly.....never using more than 30% of the available credit and keeping it paid off monthly.  It will take time but the bankruptcy will fade as time passes and your good credit history will become stronger.  Things like paying your electric bill on time helps your credit too, it isn't just about credit cards.

  4. You will find lots of companies willing to charge you to help restore your credit but the reality is you're paying for the service... not for the results. Unless there are errors on your credit reports, these companies cannot do anything because lying about your delinquencies is called fraud. Don't go there. Yes, you can get copies of your reports and look for errors but you can't change information that is true for 10 years in the case of bankruptcy. By now you should be able to live with cash and have learned enough about the troubles that credit has caused in your life never to go into that again. Let your son apply for student loans, grants, scholarships and whatever to help himself through school. You'll be able to help with cash instead of credit. Keep it that way!!!

  5. You can try Household bank or Orchard or credit oone or hooters mastercard.. There a a few credit cards out there that specilaize in giving credit cards to people with bad credit. You can also take out a small secured loan with your own money ( as little as $500) and pay it every month so that it will report to the credit agencies and build up. a credit union is a great place to do that if you have one. If you even get just one card or loan and pay for about a year or even 6-8 months. I filed ch 13 in 03 and after a year Household sent me a pre-approved offer. I payed them a year and then I started getting all kinds of offers in the mail. Then one day i applied for walmart b/c i wanted a copy of my credit report and they gave it to me. I will not go into what i did next but lets just say I have really strong credit now. I said all that to say it can be done. DONT PAY ANYONE yo do it for you because it can backfire. Anything that can legally be on ur report, even if taken off, can be put back on at any time. you CAN do it yourself.Start researching bad credit credit cards but focus on the ones with no extra fees besides maybe an annual fee. The above named are good ones to start with.
