  1. Right to Left (for a Right-Hander) is a draw.  A draw is a great shot, but not necessarily the "ideal" shot.  Your shot selection depends on where you are aiming and the obstacles needed to overcome (like trees or bunkers or hills, et.al.)

Many times one needs a FADE (left to right)...or just plain straight down the middle.

For a DRAW, inside out swing (keep right elbow tucked in throughout swing).  This promotes inside out swing.  Club face MUST be square to target at point-of-contace, inside-out swing will put right-to-left spin on ball, ball will go out to right and curve left.  Easier said than done.  Need to practice this.

  2. when i want to do taht i think of sticking my right elbow into my side on the down swing and release real hard. it takes some practice to get the timing right but just stick with it...

  3. A draw certainly is not the desired ball flight for all professional players.  Many, many guys have great careers with the fade.  To hit a draw, you must first understand what has to happen through the hitting zone.  The ball will start with the path of the club.  The ball will curve or not curve depending on the face angle relative to the path of the club. Imagine you're hitting a golf ball from home plate.  You want the ball to start at the 2nd baseman and go over the center field wall.  Therefore you want the path of your swing at impact to be going towards the 2nd baseman with the club pointed at the pitchers mound.  Make sense?

  4. Align your feet to your target, then move your right foot back so that the toe is even with the instep on your left foot. This will cause you to close the clubface more at impact promoting a draw. It seems simple but it really works.

  5. Without a doubt your swing plane must work from the inside out.  Dont try to create it with your release, this takes skill in your timing that most people cant duplicate consistently.  Try closing your stance, slightly.  Were talking pulling your rear foot back 2 to 3 inches at the most to start.  With that in mind aim the clubface where you want the ball to finish, the target.  Your body line will dictate the ball flight path.  Keep in mind working the ball and experimenting with spin is something that most people should'nt mess with until you have a solid foundation to work with.  Golf is difficult enough.  Keep it simple!
