  1. Oriental diet.

Edit - To some of the above. My husband has a very similar physique and he's not big on fitness. Part of it really is lucky genes plus healthy eating.

  2. do bruce lee's workout regime basically learn kung fu or jeet kwon do

  3. Bruce trained with barbells, but he did not have the potential to become a Mr. Universe. Even if you followed his same exercise and diet routine, you would get different results, since you are not him. Study some barbell books and magazines. Such magazines I see on newsstands are "Flex", "Muscle & Fitness", "MuscleMag", "Muscular development' and "IronMan". There is an article about Bruce Lee in a recent "Muscle & Fitness" mag that gives his exercises at a Chinese gym for 5/27/65 and tells about his diet. He is much too skinny to suit me, and he lacks proportion and shapely lines. He did try bodybuilding, but he was too ectomorphic to become huge.

  4. you would have to do what bruce lee did and dedicate your life to martial arts.

  5. Body builders get huge muscles by lifting alot of weight but they don't do as many repetitions. where Bruce lees workout consist of a lower set of weights but a lot of repetitions. So if you want Bruce lee muscles than you need to focus on less wight and allot of conditioning.

  6. I don't think you can aquire Bruce Lee's muscles. He has been dead a long time and I am pretty sure that they are partially de-composed by now.

  7. Nn lo so, mi disp :'(....ciaoooooo!

  8. Light weights with many repetitions.

Lots of cardio and stretching exercises.

Typical asian diet lots of vegetables, rice and small portions of meat.

Chinese usually have 8 plates on the table during dinner, they consist of a soup different vegetables and meat protiens to pick from.

No artificial drinks, mostly tea, water.

    Goodluck!

  9. you would have to be an extreme martial artist

  10. Spend about 6 hours a day martial arts training.

  11. Well first of all a lot of the people on here have a good point about the genetics thing, that makes a big difference no matter who you are.  So does diet.  The thing is though all BL ever did was martial arts, eat, and workout unless he was filming.  So in order to have any chance of acheiving his body, meaning not just the way it looked but the way it performed, you'd have to eat A LOT and spend all of your free time doing some kind of workouts, martial arts related or otherwise.

Luckily for me my body type is somewhat like BL's, so when I tried his workout routine (which you can find all over the internet) I got results like him, but he probably had less body fat than me.  A lot of people on here are saying low-med weight and high rep.  What they don't realize is that those workouts wont maximize your strength, or necessarily your speed either, two things BL worked on endlessly.  They primarily build muscle memory, to do that workout more efficiently, and muscle endurance (slow-twitch muscle) to go on for a long time with minimal lactic acid buildup.  High weight low rep workouts on the other hand DO build strength and explosive speed (fast-twitch muscle fiber).  BL did a lot of these low rep workouts.  If you research this you'll find out that powerlifters do these workouts, and ONLY THESE WORKOUTS.  Here is how it works, if you do high weight low rep workouts, you will pwn your muscles.  But if you only do these kinds of workouts you will increase your strength without increasing your size much because those workouts decrease bloodflow to the muscle, which means no nutrients get to your muscles so hypertrophy (muscle growth) can't occur to its fullest extent.  Powerlifters compete based on weight, so the lowest weight but highest power output is their goal, and this is what they all do, it is a tried and true method.  Low weight high rep workouts on the other hand increase blood flow by increasing capillary size.  So although they can not  cause significant hypertrophy, when combined with high weight low rep workouts hypertrophy is maximized.  If you want Bruce Lee's body try cardio like running/biking to burn fat and get your legs strong.  And for everything else (including legs) do low rep high weight workouts, and only low rep high weight workouts (with the exception of reaction speed exercises) and eat EVERYTHING that's good for you, which is everything as long as its in the correct amounts.

  12. I agree with the answer about repetitions of weight bearing exercise but of low-medium weights so you dont bulk up.  Also, you could try some ashtanga yoga and cutting out a lot of carbs from your diet for a time.  Obviously this is personal choice and you don't want to do anything detrimental to your health but more protein and less fat/carbs means your muscles are more defined looking.

  13. Work out, but without using protein drink

  14. do lots of reps with smaller weights for toned and strong muscles

  15. Not to hard at all, 3 years in the gym, high rep, low to medium weights, and plenty of cardio vascular, a good stomach work out 3 times a week and a low fat diet. When I say 3 years in the gym I only mean 3 to 4 weight sessions per week, if you look at Bruce Lee he only looks as buff as a professional boxer or equivalent sportsman, very achievable.

  16. There is the "Sweden" sports

It's push-ups, abdo, and all kinds of physics that could acquire just a use of your mass

  17. watch his movies over and over all day long, and then go to sleep and you might just dream you look like him

    good luck

  18. exercise dude
