Question:

How can I activate the internet links on my Microsoft Works Word documents.

I just changed computers and both run on Microsoft XP

On my old computer I was able to use the links that appeared on my Word Documents, but on my new computer, they don't work. Is there an option somewhere where I can enable those links to work.

PS. My email links do work and my HTML documents work too. It's just the links on ordinary Word documents that don't work.

  1. Depending on the version of Word, try going to Tools, AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat, under Replace, select the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.
