The other side of the ceiling is th roof, so I have no place to run the electricity. The slope starts at the 10 feet on one side of the room and ends at about 20 feet at the other side. It is a one story house.

  1. Build a mounting "box" that is angled on the top inline with the angle of the ceiling and the bottom surface parallel to the floor. The wiring can be covered with u-channel. Paint all of it to match the ceiling. There are fans that are designed for use on Vaulted ceilings, they have an attachable 'downrod' that allows them to sit much lower that the ceiling. As long as you use the right materials and find a beam to mount the 'box' to you shouldn't have a problem. Mock everything up before you do anything permanent so you can be sure you leave enough clearance for the fan blades so that they don't hit the ceiling. Good luck.

  2. I agree with the previous poster, and I think that you can also purchase an extension for the drop of the fan.
