I've used Firefox with adblock plus before, and I want to know how I can block ads on Google Chrome, since it's so much faster!

  1. Ok, It's kinda difficult to explain right now, since the browser's what...3 days old? Right now, in-site ads are visible, and we have to deal for now, but since like websites, Google makes all of it's money on advertisement. They've already got this clause in their Terms of Service, that says they own anything you add, code or alter to their browser.

As of yesterday, they are amending it to include modifications such as Ad-blocking software.

But, if it's pop-ups you're worried about, Chrome minimizes them (Source was cloudy) but still renders them. I'm suspecting Chrome is based loosely off of the original Chrome made by Mozilla back in 1999. All Mozilla browsers use the chrome directory for addons, and extra code for the browser, so I can go ahead and de-obfuscate that for you if you ever went exploring on your hard disk.

I'm willing to bet in three months; if there is an ad-blocker made for Chrome, Google will either **** the bed and sue them, or they'll just blackball them and steal their code. Stick to Firefox for now, since Google is wanting to advertise their browser as a "web OS" anyway.

TL;DR - There's nothing yet, and if there is going to be, be careful about reading Google's dodegy Terms of Service agreement.
