How can I add copyright text to many photos at once?

I need to add the same copyright text to over 800 photographs. It is taking longer than I like to do this. I'm using PhotoShop CS2, but I also have access to Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, and Fireworks if need be. I would like to know if there is a way to add the text to all the photos at one time? If it is possible, what do I need to accomplish this, and what is the procedure?

You can create an automated script in photoshop to do this.  It could apply the copyright text to all images in a single directory.
