How can I add someone to my limited profile list on Facebook?

I think they've changed it, and I can't figure it out!

If you want certain people to only be able to see certain parts of your page, create a separate sub-friends list via Friends, and then add the person(s) to that list,  and THEN go into your privacy settings and add that friends list to whatever area(s) you want, either specifying they can see the items or can't see them, the choice is yours.

Diana is almost there with the answer. I've started using the new facebook and created a limited profile list. I then went onto privacy settings and customised like how some of the replies tell you to do. I find it easier to have a limited profile list then selecting person by person on privacy settings, all you have to do is type in the name of your limited profile list.

Basically my probably was then how to add more people to that list, I clicked on the friends tab but found no way to add people to the limited profile list. Then through Diana's link I realised that once you've selected the friends tab you need to make sure that the page is showing everyone. Then when you click on your list you can add.

Yeah they did change it. It took me FOREVER to figure it out, but here's how you do it:

From your home page, click privacy in the top right corner.

On the privacy page, click profile.

Then there will be a list of things people will see on your profile, like basic info, personal info, contact info etc... You can control who sees all of these EXCEPT profile, because if you aren't letting them see your whole profile, why be friends?

So click on edit custom setting on any of them (except profile) and a box will show up. At the bottom of the box it will say, except these people and you can start typing your friends name. Just click them, and save.
