How can I add subtitles to a movie I just downloaded?

it's for educational purposes and I couldnt find this particular movie anywhere!

1. you'll need to get the .srt file that goes with the movie file.

2. important - both files need to have exactly the same names (except for the extension).

3. download and install a program called vobsub.

4. if you watch it with media player it should automatically display subtitles.

5. stop downloading pirated movies.
