How can I adespatch a laptops or large items to the UK mainland from UK?

Hi, I am kind of new to ebay, I have 23 buyer positive feedback and 3 seller positive feedbacks, so now I want to sell my laptop which is 2.8KG, which service do I use I mean companys, and do I have to go to them give the laptop to them, just like royal mail but with large box, please let me know coz I need to sell that laptop.

Get a quote from Parcel Force, TNT, FedEx etc etc (look up 'Parcel and Courier Services' in the yellow pages) and make sure you allow for packing ..

NB> There are so many scams and con-artists on eBay that anyone with low feedback (and I mean under 100) will attract only low bids for expensive items (or worse, the criminals will target you since you have little experience). So you might want to put a 'reserve price' on it .. and perhaps accept bids only from those with verified Pay-Pal addresses ..

PS I'm sure I don't have to warn you not to accept bids from Nigerian con-merchants ..and NEVER deal 'outside' eBay = they will send you a cheque and 'overpay' you. When the cheque 'clears' you will send the laptop and 'return' them the overpayment  .. and 2 or 3 weeks later the cheque will bounce and you will be left with nothing).
