How can I advance this science fair project further ?

I did a Science Fair Research project last year on the effect of Zinc supplement on mealworms. I discovered that it actually extends the worms' life. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I should do this year to expand the topic--"life extension" more? Should I test it on a different type of specie ?

Any ideas are welcomed ! Thanks !

I would use different species or perhaps a different mineral.  There has also been extensive research that proves very low calorie diets extends life by a considerable amount.  Starving yourself actually increases life expectancy, at least that has been proven in mice.

You could experiment with different species or with different supplements like iron, magnesium, selenium...
