How can I advertize my book without spending a lot of money? How can I get the word out about my book?

For someone on a shoe string budget there should be someway to get my name out there.

If you are attending college, go to the book exchange event and sell your book there with minimum effort. (Every college should have one)

I personally think Myspace is a good way to advertise and network.  Join some of the myspace groups too, you may find someone that can give you great info.

Offer it as an affiliate program.  Allow people to promote your book and in return they receive commission.  

There is more to it, but that is the gist of it.
