Question:

How can I afford car insurance / repairs?

Hi there!

Simply put, I need money-making help. :P I make $200 a month right now, but that won't be enough to afford a car after... I buy one. What do you think I should do? I'm in high school, and I don't want work to get in the way of homework, but at the same time, I don't want to work 30 minutes a day, either.

Thanks!

  1. dont get a car untill you can finacially afford it, honestly, i know its hard. but its for the best, that way you wont get into debt

  2. Driving is not cheap, unfortunately. Your education is more important than working to be able to drive. If you can't work and earn enough to afford a car and keep up with school, then choose school. You have the rest of your life to work.

  3. Well it's all up to you either you work or you don't get a car.

It's simple. There is always weekend work

By the time you get a car there are even more expenses other than insurance or registration.

Fuel is a continuous cost also where do you think you'll be going with the car ?

You'll most likely spend more money hanging out with your friends and becoming a chauffeur to them.
