How can I ask my dad?

I really want a budgie and my mum is fine with it but my dad doesn't really like pets. Even though I have told him that he doesn't need to have anything to do with it and I'll look after it he still wont listen to me! how can I tell him that I want a pet budgie? what's a good thing to say to him so he may consider giving me a pet budgie? don't tell me to say anything rude to him please because I will give you a low rating!

Tell him your responsible. If you are able to wipe your butt after going pee. Your responsible enough to have a budgie. :)

well if you really want a budgie and you really will look after it tell him to test you with it say to him that if you dont look after it then he can get rid of it and if you do look after it then he'll see that you wont neglect it then h**l learn to love it

i got a budgie a little while ago without my boyfriends knowledge when he found out he said i'm not lookin after it but after a week i seen him feeding it and saying hello and putting his cage in the sun. really how can you say no to a lil budgie lol

um clean your room and the house without being asked, get As and be close to perfect, then he will see you'r responsible.

talk to him and be serious tell him him its what you really want say yo wont ask for anything else , he he really say know say please, beg him, say you love him

Dad, mum is fine with me getting a budgie and says there is so problem and I know you don't really like pets- but it is hardly a pet- its a small thing that sits in a cage and has to have food and water and be cleaned. It doesn't need walking or whatever. It doesnt bark really loud at night and wake you up, it would go outside and bring back mice and birds and it wont come into your room in the morning and l**k your face :). Please could I have one, i really want one and if mum is fine with it maybe you and her could discuss it but please take into acount how much i would appreciate your permission.

Dont get angry with hm or shout at him or whatever cos that will make him say you dont deserve one.

Do try and get your mum to talk to him

Okay, I'm an expert on this stuff. I've got two unthinkable options for you.

A. You slap him with a raw fish.

B. You get a raw fish to slap him with you.

Whatever you do make sure you get 2. Budgies are very social animals and need lots of attention.

Well, your dad has a good reason. I have a budgie parakeet right now. I used to have two but one died. So, you want a budgie parakeet. That's good because they're fun and independent. But the down side to that is taking responsibility for it. It takes a lot of work to maintain a healthy environment for my bird since he likes to make a lot of messes. If you want the bird, you have to convince your father that you can handle these tough jobs to take care of it. Sometimes I get pretty tired and sick of taking care of my bird, but I can't help but love him. Go for it if you want, and good luck for taking care of it. Oh yeah, I forgot one thing. You would need to buy a young one so you can train it better.
