How can I avoid a "drop off charge" when renting a car at one airport and dropping it off at another?

normally you can click on picking up and dropping off at differnet locations. Look up discount codes online too I saved 70 bucks on Budget.com with those codes.

talk to them tell them why you are doing it and if its unavoidable they will take the charge off

By either:

Negotiating for the removal of the drop off charge when you rent the car.

or

Not dropping it off at another airport, but returning it where you rented it.

You have to look for a contract without drop off charge.  SIMPLE.
