How can I avoid losing alot of weight while marathon training?

I'm 6'2 205 lbs and I really don't want to lose alot of weight. I lost 20 lbs last year. Is it ok to lift more than high rep/ low weights while training 2-3x a week?

  1. Load up on carbs.  That will give you the energy to keep going.


  2. pasta and meat sause

    say you are planing on running 26 miles tomorrow

    eat cereal for breakfast with an apple and orange juice

    for lunch get a sandwhich from subway with meat and on wheat bread

    for dinner pasta and meatballs

    throught the day eat granola bars 2-3 get very hydrated and during your run eat a breakfast of cereal and a fruit with oj and have either goo or a power bar during your run which can be found at any sporting good store

  3. Eat a lot of protein and carbs.
