How can I avoid the delay of the sound?

Question

As I have surround sound and the sound comes out of speakers wired to the televison, after watching a movie or something for a while there becomes a delay and the sound will come either too early or too late and not match the movement of peoples mouths. How can I sort this problem?

hello, what is the source of your video/sound when this is happening? Is it satellite, cable, dvd or over the air  channels?
