Question:

How can I be a better softball player?

My softball coach underestimates me. I'm in the outfield at every game and my coach never encourages me. Maybe if I had encouragement I would be better. How can I get better through practicing? Like what should I concentrate on when I practice? (The season is over, but for next year).

  1. im an outfielder

and its not a bad position

think of it: if no one was out there who would get the ball if it was smacked out there?

fear nothing. thats what i learned. it actually helps. a ground ball is smacked to you and you gotta fear nothing and get it. and it ends up in your glove lol! :)

just look commited and he/she'll like you more.

  2. what part of your game do you want to improve offense or defense?focus, and lots of practice go to batting cages 1-2 times per week if you really want to improve go to indoor batting cages year round to keep your stroke. in the outfield anticipate what you will do when the ball is hit to you. if it is hit to the left you may do something different than if it is hit to the right.
