  1. I'm a sophmore WR and I have started on Varsity as a freshman for a division 1 school.  3 tips to be the best WR u can be 1. catch the ball, 2. run good patterns 3. and most important and a huge reason why I start u have to be a good blocking for ur runningbacks cutting they runs to the outside

  2. make sure youre eyesght is good (my main problem catchin was that i needed glasses but had no health insurance) get gloves so youre hands dont hurt when you catch it and work on youre verticle so you can beat DB's at jump balls

  3. Catch the ball

  4. If you're a QB/WR do you throw the ball to yourself? If you do then after you throw it run like h**l down the field to catch your pass. If you drop it just blame your QB for throwing a bad ball.

But seriously though, Become as fast as you can so you can breakaway from the defenders. And catch the ball. If you run bad routes but can compensate for it by breaking away and being wide open then the coach won't be that mad.

  5. Here's a drill our coach in HS had us do...on the ends of the football (towards both ends) he would yellow ink numbers, like 5, 13, 21, etc. and when we caught the ball we had to immediately call out the number we saw...in other words we ahd to look the football in...try that, it really helps to learn to catch with your hands and watch the ball in....good luck.
