be patient with your students and dont be too much of a hardass... try to be fun and make jokes too... get the kids to see you as a mentor as well as a teacher... but not their friend... if you become friends with your students they will try to walk all over you... but just because you cant be their friend doesn't mean don't be friendly.

To be a good teacher it doesn't need perfection. All you have to do is try to understand your students soon you'll manage to make yourself as a good teacher!
