Question:

How can I be less shy to walk around without my shirt?

For example today its piping hot and I am soo shy to take my shirt off, I dunno why.

I am not built or anything, my body is like, there are no muscles, but my stomach is for the most part flat

What can I do?

I am always scared neighbors are going to see me and laugh. I am 21 by the way.

  1. Consciousness issue's with yourself it's more of a phycological thing rather then a physical matter, if you don't feel too comfortable doing it outdoors, I'd suggest doing it in doors and seeing why you don't like to take yoru shirt off around others, the best thing to gain confidence is jsut do it around a few freinds then as outdoors comes just continue doing it until your confortable to do it around anyone.

    if all else fails, look at fat people without their shirts off and be glad your not them and laugh :)


  2. are you pale or hairy ? getting some color and losing the fur will help boost confidence, so will working out of course.

    society nowadays makes everyone feel self conscious and insecure.

    just wear a tank top then :)

Ok, I am a guy who takes off his shirt to play basketball and frisbee with my friends, and I can say the only things that would embarrass me would be lack of muscle (only way to fix that is hit the gym: shoulders, pecs, and back), lack of a tan (spend some time in the sun), or acne (wash more I suppose). You are pretty skinny based on your measurements, but that just means there won't be fat covering your muscles once you start to develop them.

  5. im not saying you need too, but if you go to the gym a couple times, you might feel better about yourself and then you would be less shy. im a girl so i go to the gym so i dont look like a am a flat belly and so i feel like a have girl abs.  

  6. Well, just don't care what they think. Just think to yourself that no one will laugh at you, and if they do (which I doubt) just give them the finger or just don't care ;) And flat stomachs are good, muscles aren't such a big deal (at least not to me).

  7. Try joining a gym. Then, after a while, you'll find yourself wanting to use every opportunity to walk around without a shirt and to be seen!

    Oh, and a tan doesn't hurt either.
