How can I be more confident, but not over-confident?

Ok, I'm going into a new place, a new high school tomorrow! I have never been really out-going, but I think I need to learn :). Ok, so how can I be confident, and out-going, but not over-confident and cocky?

I need help fast!! I start school tomorrow!!!!

  2. Just be yourself! I changed school when I was in grade 9 and I went from being someone who was quite and didn't talk to being happy with my level of confidence. High school was a blast and I'm so glad I moved. Don't try to be someone you're not because you're going to be spending a lot of time with your new friends and I don't think you can keep up an act for years. So tomorrow go to school and stay true to yourself and don't be someone you're not but also don't be afraid of all the new people. Everyone will want to know who you are and where you're from and don't be afraid to tell them. You're the cool new kid, work with it! I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck=)
