I am doing my best to follow Al Gore's lead on carbon foot prints. His carbon foot print is equal to a town of 1,000 or more with his private jets, mansion, and his company. I drive an old Suburban, burn wood year round, have old appliances and furnace but still can't compete with Al. We even burn old tires and batteries to celerbrate Earth Day. How can I compete with my hero?

  1. You can steal a Nobel Prize from a lady who helped thousands escape the n***s during WW 2.

  2. Yes Gore talks a good story that the GW will destroy the world. But even He doesn't believe it ,U can tell that by how he lives. GW is a lie and nothing can fix it...

  3. Just be an idiot Democrat.

Here is a fact: Ten years from now we will still have an oil shortage if we again fail to begin solving the problem!

Congress still has a ban on offshore drilling.

Congress must lift that ban before drilling can begin.

Which leaders in Congress are leading the efforts to keep the ban? Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

They want to keep us at the mercy of foreign oil for another 10 years. They are more concerned with playing politics than your paying $4 a gallon for gasoline!

  4. Hmmmmmm.  Lets seeeeee............. you could also try

graduating from Harvard, be voted in as a member of the Senate and Congress, become a professor at Columbia and UCLA, be the vice president of the united states, and the presidential nominee, and ...throw in winning  a Nobel Peace Prize...just for the heck of it!

  5. You would need an income of at least a million bucks a year just for the house and food. Another couple of million for transportation, so I would say to even try seriously you will need to steal 5 million a year. Now if you the appearance part of it only just follow the life style in the movie “Supersize Me”.

  6. Well first you have to say you invented something important like the internet! Maybe say you invented the Iphone?

Then you have to run for president, lose, then throw a fit that it wasn't a fair election.

Then you need to hide in the shadows for awhile as you make a movie to scare people.

Then once you have money from that movie use it to get a mansion and a bunch of cows. Yes Cows. They f**t and it puts Carbon Dioxide in the air.

    The End.

  7. Make fake movies and tell lies in them.

  8. You should definitely tell people stuff that you really don't know the truth value of and market it as true... if you really want to be like Al Gore "enlighten" the world about "human caused global warming".

For the record, I really like how you worded this. Props on a great question!

  9. Be from Tennessee and ACTUALLY BELIEVE IN THIS GARBAGE GLOBAL WARMING! IT DOESNT EXIST YET! ITS CLIMATE CHANGE!

  10. Probably too late to be born to a Slick Tennessee senator.

Probably too late to have MANY Occidental Shares given to your Slick Tennessee senator father to inherit and become filthy rich.

Probably can't inherit a Tennessee mansion to retrofit to pretend to be carbon friendly.

Probably can't get away with lying about man-made global warming and getting another Oscar - he already did that.

They may not fall for it again.

    Do you lie pathologically?

  11. How does being facetious help a debate on Global Warming?

Why this fixation on Al Gore anyway?

There are two scenarios regarding Gore and An Inconvenient Truth:

1 - The film (and the man) was brilliant, insightful, full of factual data, truthful and hit the nail on the head

2 - The film (and the man) was deceitful, hypocritical, irrelevant, scare-mongering twaddle.

In either case, how does it actually affect the facts, the truth?

It doesn't. Facts are facts and one man's words cannot change reality.

The only reality is that Al Gore and AIT made more Americans aware of the issue (Note 'aware', not 'agree'or 'disagree') and start talking about it. That's all.

And that fact is in the past; it cannot be changed. Al Gore's habits cannot reduce that awareness.

What Al Gore said, did, says or does is completely irrelevant to the science, the facts and the future of our planet.

I just wish the AGW skeptics would stop bringing Gore up all the time simply to distract debate away from the true issue.

Personally, I don't give a rats-a**e what Al Gore does or says.

I find it much more disturbing that there are people who refuse to help themselves and the planet at the same time in order to be able to say "I didn't do what Al said". The depth of this ignorance is truly staggering.
