Over the years, I took driving lessons many times at 2 different schools. I sat through the 5-hour video class. I got my permit and it is now expired. I need to do the written exam all over for a new permit. I did the road test 3 times and I always fail. I messed up on parallel parking, signals and a few other little things ( I think because of my nervousness). What can I do to fianally pass and get the license?? (A male friend of mine told me last week if I take the permit and pass, he will give me practice on the road in his car).

( I live in Brooklyn, New York City)

  1. Go to a road test site that doesn't have strict and notorious driving instructors....I suggest after you get your permit, call DMV NY to schedule for a road test in New Rochelle, or Peekskill or Yonkers, I heard they pass a lot of people even though they can't drive, lol....

I used to teach people how to drive but I stopped 'cause I had this Asian student, in her 40s, very hard to teach and learn. I don't know what's wrong with her, she almost crashed my car...I get paid 35 an hour then now, i ask 45...nobody wants...I asked her to make a right, she made left...."make a left, she made right"..what the h**l...I told her to ease on gas and slow down, she did the opposite, omigod...I've had like 5 students, she's the worst....I find older people hard to teach than teens.

I've had these students that learn right away the next day, they forgot, stubborn. I'm like, what the heck is wrong with you, don't be nervous...

  2. go to the dmv and get the handbook they have there. read it daily . when your in a caras a passenger, mentally second-guess what the movements of the driver will be..to see if you remember each step you should take, good luck
