  1. sure.

    1)back handsprings - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0t0G3jUk...

Make sure you jump very very high or else you'll never get it. Also make sure you don't turn your head or you'll go crooked and fall over. REBOUND!! Try to keep your legs together, and keep your arms nice and strong.

PS... that's what my spotter said, and he's really good. I also only got it 2 weeks agoo.lol.

2)good gymnastics schools in midwest - i have no clue, i live in the east.

3)how to learn splits - stretch out your hamstrings a lot. go down as far as you can go and stay like that for 5 minutes.

    4)stretching tips - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfPyIXthl...

stretch out every part of your body once after you wake up, and another time before you go to bed.,

5)strengthening tips - with a friend near by, go into a handstand. have your friend hold your ankles and then do push ups.

practice jumping on a 4 inch section (beam).

go into a backbend (or start on ground) and stay there for 2-3 minutes.

    push ups help.

everyday, jump  with your hands in the air 8 times, with 4 sets. do this 3 times a day.

    PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

    good luck, and have fun!

  2.   :)OK, lets start with spilts I have all of my spilts and so here are tips ok? I am double jointed so it makes it easier for me by the way... but my tips hold it each time longer and longer on your elbows in yuor spilt then come up hold then, come out and into your left then elbows hold, come up hold then rotate into your middle spilt now for this one just simply go on your elbows ok! I will tell you another exersise first ge tin your split slowly and carfully lift your hands it might hurt but, your stretching and it is putting you into the spilt if it hurts really bad and you wana stop then stop but, if you really need your spilt for some weird reason like in a day then just do it for a couple secounds. If it really does hurt though then stop!

Back hand-spring's ok I will tell you what I do I almost have mine on the ground I have it on the chese mat or you might know it as the wedge mat I just need to snap my feet down. First off if you are not snapping your feet down like me... you can simply do hand stand snap down's and snap down those feet with your hips. Oh YEAH and always rember to through your hands back with them straight!!! Ok my friend did hers on the trampoline wasn't ready and brooke her finger that was also because she like turned in it. Well E-mail if you want more ok???>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I am a cheeleader so i work on spilts alot + I am a flyer

  3. First, good schools really depend on the state. In Iowa, Chow's gymnastics is great. (Shawn Johnson trained there) And in Illinois, where I live, St. Charles gymnastics academy helped me a lot. It would be easier to help you if you mention WHERE you want the school to be. I highly recommend http://www.usgyms.net/gym_directory.htm if you want to find a good school.

Next, Back handsprings. I currently have mine, so here it goes. If you want to have a good strong back handspring, you should first find a gym willing to help you. It can be extremely dangerous to try one on your own with no experience. learning one is more knowing the right positions and how to make it over, and the coach will help you with that.

Splits, you don't really learn. You stretch continuously at every practice until you are flexible enough to do them. Tips to get them quicker would just be to practice, sit in them (or however far down you will be) with your arms up until it doesn't hurt. This will show that your body is becoming more flexible. Also, don't focus on only left and right, middle is equally important and will help you become a better gymnast.

For stretching, work on splits, straddles, pikes, and lots of back stretches. I would make sure you have a backbend down solid before even attempting a back handspring, because having a flexible back is extremely important.

And strengthening: one word: Conditioning. Your gym should have a program to help you with this, or it will be included in practices. Good luck!
