  1. get a professional driver's license then drive around then try to hook up with NASCAR oh you should increase your popularity also try joining in some mini tournaments of racing

  2. why does everyone ask this same question over and over read some of the old answers people have allready asked this question a milion times save lots of money buy a local car from you local track buy all the tools welder torches ,trailer truck fire suit equipment needed and learn at your local track seat time and learn to work on the car it takes years of experience before you will even be conciderd if your luck a scout will find you then you still need to learn and be trusted from theb other drivers before they will accually race with you in the cup thats why most new drivers run in the back till they all gain each others trust

  3. Depends how old you are. You would start out in quarter midgets or go-karts. Go-karts race road courses and sometimes ovals and quarter midgets ONLY race ovals. Plus with quarter midgets you would race in different classes which call for different engines so for each class you race, you have a different quarter midget. Go-Karts start at age 8 and Quarter Midgets start at age 5. The problem is...you are done with quarter midgets at age 16 so you have to move on to a midget which is bigger than a quarter midget and they still only race ovals.  I race go-karts and it sounds easy but its a lot of hard work. Quarter Midgets are safer than go-karts but either way racing is gonna be dangerous.  Then from midgets you move onto sprint cars which are even more big than a midget. Plus you will see NASCAR drivers still racing silver crown and midgets when they aren't racing NASCAR. I've seen Kasey Kahne racing midgets and i saw Carl Edwards racing silver crown. You don't have to change anything when you race go-karts but i will tell you the older you get racing go-karts the faster and the better competition there is. Then you move into stock cars, craftmans truck, ect. and eventually you build your way up to NASCAR.  You have to be fully committed to the sport because you have no idea how much money is put into racing... you have to buy a trailer, tools, engines, tires...so much more. I'm looking more towards racing in the IRL so I'm not that smart on what happens after sprint cars and go-karts to lead up to NASCAR, but i hope that helps you!! =]]

  4. you need to join a go-kart league then get your c**p to dirt racing and then to midgets or something then get a contract to race in something like pro stock cars then to ARCA then to Nationwide Series. It's a long process so I doubt I'll see you in a racecar within your lifetime.
