There isn't a school to train you specifically to plan parties. You just have to be creative and always on the alert for new ideas.

What you do need to start your own business is a few community college courses on business and contract law, so you don't run afoul of the IRS and State Workers Comp laws and the such.

You need the contract law courses so you will know what to do when someone doesn't pay you, or demands more than what you agreed to provide.

Nothing is simple these days.
