How can I become a member of the Yahoo Power User group?

When one of my friend installed beta version of yahoo 9, his yahoo id become a power user. SO i am curious to know what is the criteria to become a yahoo power user and how to become a yahoo power user?

Are you wondering about the Yahoo Mail Power User Program or the Yahoo Groups Power User Program?  If it's the former, the last half of Xenomaniac's answer gives you the info you want.  But if it's the latter, see the below info I copied from a web page I am given access to when I log in to Yahoo Groups.

"Groups Power Users are the owners and moderators of the top 2% of Yahoo! Groups. The top 2% was determined by looking at factors like the number of members in a group, the number of monthly posts – i.e., how active a group is – along with how long the group has been in existence.

"If you’re not currently in the Power User Program, just keep using your Group and at some point in the future we hope to be able to expand the program to include more great groups.
