  1. Don't compare yourself to other people, but if you must, then realize that everyone has insecurities, demons, skeletons, issues, weaknesses, gets old, farts, has individual talents, etc.

  2. First of all relax a bit.  You're human and you will make mistakes along the way.  How else are going to learn?   We all have been there at some point in our lives.

Stick to your convictions and don't let people take that away from you. If you're not self-confidant, your convictions slowly go by the way side.

If you know what you're doing, people will recognize this in you.  Then there are the "testers" who will want to confuse you into thinking you don't know what you're doing.  That's the time to stick to your convictions and just walk away.  They'll soon get the picture.

There is also time to laugh and have a good time.  Too much seriousness will only drain you from the self confidence to have built up.  It takes time to build up self confidence.  With more experiance comes more self confidence.

Keep your body straight and don't be afraid to look people in the eye.

If you don't have eye contact with people, then they will think you don't know what you're doing and then you loose the self respect that's due you.

Get some books and start reading about what the experts are telling you.  It will help you in the long run.  Write down what you consider you convictions are.  Think about your values and write them down.  You may have to refer back to them just as a reminder.

Good luck in your future indevores.  You already have a good start with being self confidant by asking this question.
