How can I become an actor?

I live 40 minutes away from Regina, SK, Canada and my dream is to become a famous actor, how do you recommend me getting started, I want to get and agent and go to auditions as soon as possible.

you shoudl do some classes!participate in plays! build up your resume! get an agent! do auditions! get headshots!

read everythign you see! and click on words in blue but not double udnerlined ones and i suggest that you sign up with alan baltes go to first site and look at right column it explains everything! he wont be an agent just help you out and its a one time fee of 30 dollars and totally worth it!

I would recommend taking some classes. I'm not exactly sure where Regina is, but I would go online to Google and look-up "acting classes in the Regina, CA area". If you have a John Robert Powers Acting School near you, I would recommend going to that. That is where I go, and I really love it. After you do some classes, then start looking online for an agent. You will have to go and audition for the agents. Some may like you, and some may not. The acting business is full of rejection, so if you really want to act, don't give up, and keep on trying.
