This is my career dream. I am black british african fourteen year old, living in London and I doubt I am going to change my mind:

From now to about Uni I want to try my best to be a sucessful stage actress/singer so that I can eventually be in West End/Broadway and be a sucessful model. Also to be like most other teenagers when they are sixteen and get a small part time job such as working in a clothes shop/fast food restaurant. And odd jobs like that. Then when I am in university to do things such as West End/broadway peforming but other things such as jobs in University like I dunno studnt counseller or whatever. And things like writing in magazines some times just random stuff. Then after studying something in University to help me become a insurance broker become a broker and part time west end/broadway peformer till I am around 30. Then set up small businusses in parts of africa and sometimes teach the english language there. How can I make this all happen? I am ambitious/

  1. I'm impressed with your ambition - so many people don't have dreams that it's great to find someone with so many.

To avoid getting lost in them write them write them down.  Think about each one.  Will you enjoy it?  How will you get to do it?  Write down your ideas.  It's all very well to dream but you also need to do something towards getting there.

See if you can find a local life coaching group where you can go and get ideas that will help you focus on the best way to get what you want.

Speak to other people who are already doing what you want to do and find out what advice they have.

Above all, keep that determination and vision in your mind but be ready to adapt it as necessary.

  2. Well full marks for determination at 14!  But I suspect that your ambitions are clouded by some day dreaming as well. You are filling your mind with a veritable pot pourri of achievements that somehow don't gel together.  My advice?  I suggest that you work at one ambition at a time, see where that takes you, and build on that. Your lust for success is great but you have a long way to go and I simply suggest that you take things slowly or you may become depressed that your dreams are not happening all at once. And, as a last word of encouragement, simply follow your heart at all times .... your higher self will guide you through all of this.  Good luck ........

  3. Good on you for ambition but why oh why are you engulfed with societies current obsession with fame/celebrity/modelling etc. For all our sakes, widen your horizons.

  4. All power to your elbow my son. I wish you all the best in life.

  5. try to be flexible and ready for any rejection. it's a big world out there. everybody wants to be a star.

  6. So what's the question? If it's how to do all that, then I doubt anyone is going to know because nobody has that many jobs.
