  1. always think strategy. Track where your opponent is hitting her shots. Is it always backhands? Track how well your oppenent responds to the sides of the court you reply. Besides, if your pic reflects how you look, your opponent is going to have the trouble focusing!

  2. I would always stay on your toes. Always be ready. Try doing yoga or other martial arts and learn how to avoid distractions. You have to have very quick reflexes as well. If you are winning in a match, don't lose focus and try to go for every shot just because you're winning. Keep your old game plan going. REMEMBER, never change a winning game. BUT change a losing one.

  3. focus only on the ball, ignore your opponent or coach on the other side and concentrate on playing your game

  4. Earplugs.

Notecards (which both the Williams Sisters use)

Movement during points.  Movement is the first thing to go when points get stressful or you become unfocused.

Enjoy the game.  Stop concentrating on winning and loosing.  Enjoy the competition.

  5. craigslist.  You can find a lot of other people there trying to get better as well who offer advice.

    -I have spoken.
