How can I become popular in just a day?

I am kinda known by a lot of people but it's not enough. I have this attention-needing thing. It's really hurting to know that some people don't even know you.

It depends on the kind of popular you want.

You have to grab attention, shock!

Now take something that will shock you general audience. If you have an understanding of the result of that shock, then you will be well on your way to creating greater attention to yourself thus gaining popularity.

Shock is what one needs to become better known in a short amount of time. The shorter the amount of time the greater the shock must be.

After the initial shock is created then you can pursue your goal. If it is just to be popular then you will have to address the needs of your populace.

For example, if your targeted audience wants someone to stand up to a particular issue, your choice must remain with the majority of the audience. Same goes for other issues.

Every once and a while when your audience gets bored, you will need to liven things up with some 'shock treatment'. If you are already popular with this audience then you can have some soft shock.



Soft shock can be some personal disaster or suspenseful situation that would need to get quickly resolved.

This could go on, though I think that if you are to be successful, you get the hint already.

Luck is also something that you need, it can make or break popularity.

Oh one more thing. People are very forgetful, if you do something stupid, only those who feel threatened will bring it up to lower you popularity. Just be witty and don't take a defensive stance. Defensiveness is very bad in a publics eye.

On a one to one basis you can be anything you like and each person will react accordingly.

In any social setting, conversation works, but it takes TIME. Interaction is the key and is socially acceptable. Feelings do not turn on and off like a light switch. Relationships build over TIME. OR you could try something spectacular, socially unacceptable and completely stupid, which if nothing else WILL get you noticed... Personally, I would go with friendly conversation and work on building relationships and be patient... Your BFF did NOT become Miss Popular overnight, nor will you.

Trust me, if you can make youre peers think youre popular in one day, your peers are idiots are youre realy good at rhetoric. At 16 I already realize that you should be freinds with a person for their peronsality, not how popular they are. I strive to stay away from those kind of people, they never have the happily ever after.
