  1. Avoid Forex, unless you know what you're doing and can put the time in, it's basically a waste of money.

to be perfectly honest, $200 odd is the sort of money you're just punting around unless you put it into a reliable stock or bond, and even then, you're guaranteed it's not going to change your life whatsoever, but at the same time, at least it's not going to be thrown down the toilet either.

  2. Simply open an account on-line with E*trade or Scottrade...( it may require the $ 500.  You will get an account that you can " trade" in...and to start with you can buy shares in ETFs or individual stocks...

...twenty shares of WNR ( Western Refining)  bought May 29th, for $ 261.00 ( $251.00 plus $10.00 commission) would be worth $ 315.00 today.  It sounds like just a little, but it's 25% !!...keep that up and you've got something.

Start little, start slow, but START!

Don't try to make a killing ...just try to make little gains...the important thing is: IT ADDS UP.

    Good luck.

  3. I have the absolute best answer for you:

    www.prosper.com

    -I started out with $100

-I now have $500 in my account and earn a 12.5% interest rate on my money

It is a peer to peer lending site. Its not a gimmick. Its legit and has been in the wall street journal. You can't get an interest rate this high anywhere else right now. It is also really fun!!

Trust me, I'm 18 years old, and I can do it.

  4. Invest in forex, you can start with $100 easily due to leverage.

  5. If you are a beginner in the world of investing, it is natural to be a bit apprehensive about getting started investing in stocks

  6. i would say you could use the whole sum of money and put it into very low risk safe stocks like CREST on etrade or other stock exchanges if you would like to play it safe....and if you would like high risk and big reward.. i would advise you to go into the asian market!!
