Question:

How can I bond neoprene to polyethylene?

The neoprene will be in sheet form, and the polyethylene will be thin, like a plastic bag. This is for a water-contact application, so any adhesive would have to be suitable. Is heat-staking an option, or should I stick to adhesives? Alternatives to polyethylene are possible as long as they have similar characteristics (thin, flexible, water-impermeable).

  1. Check out McMaster-Carr and type in adhesive or 3314 for the page about adhesives.
