How can I bond with 1.5 yr old nephew when his dad spoils him and won't let anyone hold him cuz he cries?

Ask your nephews mum if you can take your nephew out for an hour or 2, so you can get him away from his dad! My husband can be terrible with our youngest and gets quite worried when he cries, etc, and even I find it irritating but he won't be told!!! Perhaps explain, nicely, to your nephews dad (your brother?) that if he keeps preventing people holding him, then when he is older he won't go to anybody else and it will be very hard to get him to go to school.

well, try to tempt him with ur beautiful smile and let him believe that u will and can play with him.

if this is not good enough, very simple just tempt him with sweets.
