How can I branch out and advertise some of my merchandise from Cafepress.com?

Question

I recently made an account at Cafepress.com and have designed a few shirts. I realize I won't get a lot of buys or success in a week, but I was wondering if anyone knew any helpful ways to advertise my merchandise? I have joined the website ratemyeverything.net in order to get some exposure, are there any similar websites out there? My goal is to get exposure for my apparel and not to spam. Also, any comments or suggestions you may have on my work would be truely appriciated!

Advertise your business on free classifieds, relevant forums and social networking websites. Monitor the response you get periodically to find out what works best. From http://ad5.info

Get funding from a good source, to allow you to afford advertising. http://breadstreet.com offers private investors at a low cost and they may help you get an advertising budget together. However, you can search http://yahoo.com using the keywords venture capital, angel investors or investor leads. And, there are many good companies like FNIN.com, Gobignetwork.com or AIS.com

There are literally hundreds of options out there. One of the best sources I have found is squidoo. You can make a lens (web page) for free. There is a large community of CPSK there that you can link up with to get advise and increase your exposure.
