This may sound really dumb, Lord, but I'm extremely proud to be part Italian, but how can I look more like it? My mother's parent's 'n grandparent's are full Italian 'n we're only a portion.. I mixed wit a lil Cherokee Indian 'n German as well. I have the dark brown eyes 'n kind of a dark brown hair.. definently have the Italian nose.. but would a tan 'n maybe a hair dye help? Lol. I want that exotic look! I'm bored wit the "white" girl look.

  1. Sorry to DISAPPOINT you all

there's nothing like an "italian look"

we are not all dark, short, with big noses and brown eyes

lots of italians are blond with blue/green eyes and fair skin, ...everywhere not just the northern's ones...in the south you find LOTS of blonds and blue/green eyed, nordic features are very common all over south of Italy after the invasions  from vikings and goths which lasted at least 200 years, hence the tons of blue/green eyes and fair hair... another MYTH is fallen...

On the other hands lots of northern italians are very dark  sometime more then southerns one as the vikings (Normans) been only in the south part of the country...actually the fact they are all blonds german's like is far to be real and would make laugh everybody...simply false  for example Berlusconi and Bossi are pure northerners...do you see any blond in them?... google them to see how "blonds" they are.. LOL

Even in Sicily, where the moors been for longer time, you are able to find blonds and red heads, for the same reason above mentioned..(Normans invasions and Longobards)

Obviously you find lots of brunettes as well, spread ALL OVER Italy...brunettes means light brown eyes and light brown hair...in winter very pale...and no...not all got big noses...lots got small noses and I have seen a number of big noses quite everywhere in this world including the north europe, Uk and Usa

So you HAVE NOT to  tan to look more italian...unless your idea of "italians" is the one coming from the CRAPPY american's movies where all of us are horrible dark mafiosi....

    sorry is not the real

  2. First, are you from northern Italy, Southern, or Sicily.  That makes a huge difference.

I would suggest getting a darkish tan *be careful*, if from Southern/ Sicily.

  3. italian girls tan very nicely so you should get a tan and they usually have naturally dark hair. but you should be equally proud of all your ethnicities. you cant have a whole with out the other halfs and even fractions.

  4. Not all Italians are dark.  Northern Italians are often blond.  Be careful about changing your look-- some people may misinterpret it.  My grandfather was half Scottish and half Native American and looked the native part-- dusky skin, black hair and eyes, big nose... and people gave him a really hard time because they thought he was Jewish.
