How can I burn DVD-R/DVD-RW using CD-RW drive?

CD-RW drive is only used in burning CDs and I have a DVD Drive but it cannot burn DVDs. So is there any Plug-ins that I will use? or In your Idea?

  1. uh if your drive is only a CD_RW drive you can't burn dvd's... there are no drivers... you need a dvd drive.

You could get an external dvd/rw you can pick them up at quite a reasonable price either new or second hand i saw one in cash converters for 15 quid. you might also need to download drivers (software for so your dvd/rw runs properly with your computer)although they are quite often plug and play devices.   3. unfortunately you have to splurge on a dedicated DVD-R/RW or "super drive" drive if you want to burn DVDs. your CD-RW or DVD drive won't be able to

  4. you need a dvd-r/rw drive unless you are a supergenious who happens to also work for a huge electronics corporation in their electronics lab. even then...its safe to say that it would be MUCH easier spending the $30 to just get the dvd-r/rw drive.
