How can I burn Divx Movies?

I go to this website called www.66stage.com. When I go there, I choose a movie, wait untill it's finished, and save it to my computer. But when i try to burn that video on a DVD it doesn't work.

p.s. I tried using the Divx to DVD converters

You have to convert it into dvd format ann the burn it.

i was facing same problem more than a year ago. i patiently tried trial versions of different products, wasted tons of hours and discs, until i decided to forget the whole thing and start enjoying videos instead of converting... also all current video compression is lossy (mpeg, mpeg2, divx, xvid, etc.). converting from one compressed format to another further degrades quality and it is time consuming.

result: i simply purchased new DVD player that can also handle DivX and I never looked back. today you can get one for as little as $35-45 which is about same as mentioned or similar software products. and now I can burn several DivX files on one DVD disc and burning takes only few minutes for several files which is less time than converting just one single file. smaller file size is better if one doesn't want to burn discs since harddrive space is so affordable. just a thought...
