I use XP home edition, want to use songs found on my ipod (off itunes), I have an older version of windows media player and would prefer not to have to install any software. Is it possible? What format do I burn it as? I want it to be able to play on any cd player, such as older car ones.

Thanks!

  1. The software u use doesn't matter, windows media player is fine.

But I had that problem, cds that I was burning couldn't play on my old 99 chevy cavalier, and I didn't know why until I found out that the media mattered.

Use CD-R Music, regular CD-R data don't work

  2. use windows media player that has a converter
