How can I buy a thermistor for a 24k btu, 220v, window AC unit?

Hi,

Where can I buy a pipe themistor for a Fredders window AC unit? It's a 24,000 BTU, 220v.

The error message is 'E3.' And according to this forum post:

...it means 'indoor pipe themister error...D-with defrost.' I've narrowed it down to what I believe to be the indoor pipe thermistor. On the circuit board, there are two spots where 'sensors' are plugged in. When I unplug the one that clearly leads to the sensor clamped in front of the coils visible from looking at the front of the AC with the cover taken off, I get an 'E2' error. Which according to the link above is 'room thermister closed.....Y-cool only with sweep.'

Any help would be great.

There are shops that carry nothing but parts for appliances.You know,window a/c,washers, dryers,home refrigerators,etc..In every large city.

Try finding one on line.
