There was a listed company in Australia that owned a hotel that was used as a brothel. I don't think it is legal to invest directly into a brothel as it is illegal for a third party to solicit (pimping).

There was a listed company called Northern & Shell (Richard Desmond) but I don't think it is listed any more. There have also been some IPOs for lap dancing clubs but I don't think they lasted. The problem is the institutions don't like to be seen to be associated with this industry although I should think many of their executives are patrons! The other problem is that p**n always goes hand in hand with crime (drugs, prostitution etc.) so it is a difficult business to mainstream. I don't know who owns the UK adult channels like Fantasy Channel etc. They may be part of mainstreem TV channels like Virgin Media.

Use an online brokerage firm that has good beginner qualitys {like tutorials or easy to understand set up}, i use zecco, better then schwab, etrade, etc. they are the only ones with free stock trades, no minumums..find out who owns the companys you want to invest in
