How can I buy stocks with out paying somone?

This is my first time buying stocks and I dont want to pay a broker.

  1. Pay my dad he does that stuff!LOL You cant .

  3. Try E-Trade, Scott, ING/Sharebuilder. They will charge you about 4 dollars per stock you buy. (Doesn't matter how much % you put into that stock. Or go standard and pay 12 dollars per month for 6 trades. You will make some money and you will lose some money. It's fun. Like a game.

    For example:

    Alex pays 12 per month to buy 6 stocks, in which he invest 38 dollars, (divided whichever way he wants to each stock). A total investment of 50 dollars per month. That's with ING/Sharebuilder.

  4. Only brokers have access to the market.  They expect to be paid.
