Question:

How can I by-pass a DNS block on a works computer, so I can access blocked websites like EBay & Facebook......

......please bear in mind i know very little about the guts of a computer and need an explanation in lehmans terms cheers

  1. If your work comp is blocked more than likely theres a key logger on the system as well, you log in it knows who you are and from which terminal it came from.  In short don't even try to bypass any internal security measures they'll know who it was right away and you'll loose your job.


  2. As soon as you try that you will be flagged in the system and they will know what time and from what terminal. Company's are getting tough on employees who expose their systems to threats and viruses now.

    You can end up getting the bill for having the system purged if you do, as well getting instant dismissal as it is now looked on as a serious disiplinary offence. Which will not look good on any reference in another job.

    There have been instances reported in the press just lately where mass sackings have taken place over this sort of thing with p**n sites and the like as well as social sites.

    Wait till you get home. Good advice, take it.

  3. Hmmm OK that depends on what rights you have in the computer and what kind of block it is. Still you can try free gate. works great for me
