Question:

How can I call a vet?

I have a question about my dog, and she doesn't usually go for checkups, so she doesn't have a vet.

If I call a random vet, would I have to be a patient there? Or can I just call them to ask my question?

  1. You can call any vets office for advice, but your dog should see a vet at least once yearly for vaccines and heartworm testing.

  2. Well if your dog hasn't been to the vet in awhile, you need to find one and take her in where you can then ask your question.  When you got your pet you made a commitment to give her proper medical care, which usually involves a yearly checkup as well as any emergency care she may need.  Be a responsible pet owner - find a vet and take her in for a check up.

  3. you should really call a vet because if your dog got injured badly you would not want to wait and find a vet to help him/her!!!!!

  4. you can call a vet by using the telephone, lol, yeah you can call any local vet and they will give you general information concerning your pet

  5. You can call a vet and tell them your question and that your new to the vet thing. You should probably ask for a membership and take the at least every six months.

Trust me I have two myself!!!

  6. You could call any vet, but they usually want you to come in for a visit anyways.  Good Luck

  7. you can call a vets office to get some adivise.

but you really should get a vet, so your pet can get yearly check ups.

  8. maybe you can ask your question on Yahoo Answers... Just add details.. some people might have had expirence with your question before..

Anyways, to call a vet, you do not have to be a patient there. Any vet will answer your question.

  10. Yeahh sure you can call a randome vet. If you dont all ready have one then you can start somewhere. You might need one in the long run someday if anything happened (hopefully nothing does). They aint gunna not answer your question or help with your dog are they !? They have to help if its needed.  So by all mean you can ring the vet or make an appoiment to see him. =]
