How can I calm myself down from anger?

I hear its not healthy for your heart and I dont wanna die. And les hust the woman who gave me life is really ticking off and if she says just one word to me i'm going to explode NOW! AnD T0ODAY

  1. You need to take a new perspective on things. By you getting angry, does the situation rectify itself? No. It simply magnifies the problem. You need to see what the problem is and with reason solve it. If it is a person, then talk to the person, see the opinion they have and see why they have that and then say your side and agian make sure that you understand both sides and that they do too. Anger is a very negative state and to overcome it is to simply be open minded.  


  2. Find out why you get so angry?And go  get help from a local minister

    Talk to your mother but don't argue! find out what she really wants! Listen and don't be so closed minded to her. Give your parents a chance they won't always be there!

  3. I say Work out to tire yourself out and to cool off, then try to recognize when your getting angry tell them your getting angry and leave when you do, if they follow you then they had it coming.

  4. Count and take deep breathes. I hope you will feel better.

  5. Here's a buddhist technique to cope with anger:

    Pause for a while, be silent and alone for a while (go into the bathroom if needed) and ask yourself:

    Where is the anger? Where do I feel it in my body? - Observe yourself.

    How does it feel? - Burning feeling? Overwhelming?

    What is its color? (Sounds silly, but try) Does it has a color at all?

    What is its shape? Does it has a shape, a boundary?

    And keep observing and examining anger itself, not its cause, not even why you are angry.

    By examining the anger itself (not why you are angry, or who you are angry at, or what you are going to do) you will see that it decreases its intensity. Basically, try not to feed anger with repetitive thoughts, just focus on how IT feels, how IT looks. You will calm down, and will be able to deal with the stressful situation in a different way.

  6. Maybe you could take a walk, and not be around her for a while.  I sometime write down my thaghts in poems cuz I write poems.  or you could listen to music,  maybe do simple yoga moves or dance talk to a friend.
